Types of Adoption Services

Private Adoption

Private Adoption involves  a child, frequently a newborn, that is being placed for adoption by his or her biological parents into the care of non-relatives.  This type of adoption often involves working with the expectant mother during her pregnancy.

If you are interested in being MATCHED with an expectant mother, you will need to complete the application for matching services and submit the application fee.

In other cases, if you contact Odom-Saska Adoptions, LLC for a consultation for assistance with a private adoption where you have already connected with your expectant mother, you will pay a $250.00 consultation fee prior to the meeting, which amount will be credited to you upon your retaining Odom-Saska Adoptions, LLC.

Intra-family Adoption

Intra-family Adoption involves the adoption of a relative, most commonly a stepchild, however any blood or marital relationship may establish grounds for an intra-family adoption.

Contact Odom-Saska Adoptions, LLC for a consultation for assistance with a intra-family adoption. You will pay a $250.00 consultation fee prior to the meeting, which amount will be credited to you upon your retaining Odom-Saska Adoptions, LLC.

Foster Care Adoption

Foster care (AKA State Agency) adoptions involve foster children, in custody of DCFS, being formally adopted by their foster parents.

After a child in foster care is freed for adoption through the proper channels, our office is contacted either by the adoptive foster parents or by DCFS on behalf of the adoptive parents.  At that point in time the state sends us a packet of the necessary documents, and we gather important information from the adoptive parents and draft the adoption pleadings.   We work diligently and always process state adoptions within 10 days or less of receipt of the packet from DCFS.

It is a blessing to watch these children be formally, officially placed with their forever families!    Please contact your local DCFS office if you are interested in becoming a foster parent.

Adult Adoption

Adult Adoptions involve the adoption of a person who is 18 years of age or older. Contact our office for more information.
