Shawn and Lindsey
There are so many things we can say to you, but first let us thank you for taking your time to view our profile. Even though we feel joy in being able to adopt again, our hearts ache for everything you are going through. We can not imagine how emotional and difficult these decisions are and we do not take that lightly. We do know it takes an unmeasurable amount of selflessness and courage to make such an emotional decision.
We have always wanted to adopt a child even before we were told we could never conceive. We knew right away that our lives would be blessed by adopting. We adopted our first child in 2017. Emma has changed our lives in the most wonderful way, she made us parents. Emma is very bright, funny, loving, helpful and so full of personality. She can’t wait to be a big sister. We still keep in touch with Emma’s birth parents and send them pictures and videos. We always tell them how thankful we are for them and the decisions they had to make. We promise to give our children the very best opportunities, education and a life full of unconditional love.
We have been together for over eighteen years and married for over ten. We grew up together in church and became best friends. We love to laugh and joke around. We love camping, vacationing, and trips to Disney world. We do lots of family trips. We are a loving, outgoing and compassionate couple.
Lindsey is a stay at home mom. She enjoys cooking, decorating for holidays and crafting. She is very creative and does photography and makeup artistry as a hobby. She is kind, gentle and silly. She has a special way of always being able to make people smile. She is a warm and caring mother and loves playing with Emma and teaching her new things.
Shawn works as a lineman on the Mississippi River. His schedule is great and allows us a lot of family time. Shawn is a laid back lovable guy. He’s always there for anyone in need and has a very caring heart. He is a very devoted daddy and never misses a chance to play and laugh with Emma. He is honest, dependable and supportive. Shawn is a man of God and the rock of our family.
We we have so much love in our family and want to share that love with your child. We want them to have an adventurous and fulfilling lives. We strive to be open, honest, supportive and loving parents. We have a big family with lots of aunts and uncles and lots of cousins. Your child will also have seven grandparents! We are very blessed to have such a big supportive family that are so overjoyed that we are adopting again.
We wish you could know the magnitude of the blessing adopting is for us. We continue to pray for you and your baby and hope you feel peace when making decisions. We hope you want to learn more about us and graciously wait for the day we are chosen.
