We are Katherine and Heath. We are originally from Louisiana but now live in Dallas, TX. Heath is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Katherine is a Physician Assistant in Anesthesia. We work at local hospitals here in the Dallas area and love serving our community within the field of medicine.
Coming from Louisiana, where community has always been so central to our way of life, we weren't sure what to expect when we moved to Texas. We have been so blown away to see God provide such an abundant community of friends that have become family. We still love our home state of Louisiana dearly and have brought friends from Texas back to enjoy the rich culture and community we have always loved back home. Thankfully Louisiana is a short drive away and allows us to visit frequently. We travel back often to see family and friends that we love and miss dearly!
One of the most beautiful things we have found living in a large city like Dallas is the diversity found everywhere you look. We love that our friends and community come from different countries, states, belief systems and unique ethnic backgrounds. We have been so thankful to love such an amazing group of people who have in turn loved us so well.
We have always felt called to adopt. Katherine has grown up with a mother who was adopted and a younger sister who has also adopted both of her sons. Adoption has played a huge part in our family and has allowed us to witness the intricacies and beauty of what a blended family can look like. Our family is very involved and loves to advocate for adoption every chance we get!
We are honored to be considered as future parents and want you to know that we will do everything in our power to love your child unconditionally. The road that led us to you was paved with love and support from so many. We have been praying for you and will continue to do so. It is important to us that your child always knows where they came from.
